Unfortunately for them, their displeasure and attempts to persuade her not to keep the egg resulted in her becoming more and more determined to keep it. After all, a dragon who already had a child was a much less desirable marriage prospect. Of course, it wasn't the fact that her daughter had been in a brief relationship with a lower-circle soldier that bothered them it was that Algid had decided to keep the egg, rather than give it to the lower ranked parent or abandon it in the wilderness. To say that her family was displeased when Algid returned from the war with an egg would be a slight understatement. She has all the standard abilities of the common IceWing frostbreath, resistance to intense cold and light, as well as the ability to blend into the night, due to her unusual colouration. Oftentimes she'll be found roughhousing with them, much to the excitement of her mother and horror of the IceWing court. Tempest likes to spend all her time outside and has found more than a few friends in the dragonets of castle guards. Despite the coddling, her mother is a firm believer in fixing what you break - and the servants know better than to risk the wrath of the angry IceWing just to follow the orders of a dragonet. This has resulted in Tempest in being a bit of a brat, especially around the other dragonets of royal descent. Algid's normal lack of patience and compassion doesn't apply to her parenting style she is as devoted a mother as any. All the while she is still, somehow, the apple of her mother's eye. She lives up to her name in all possible ways she's fast, hotheaded, and extremely messy. Her eyes are silver and highly reflective, a trait she often uses to scare servants in the dead of night. Her wings are covered in ripples of cold blue. She has dark, blue-black scales that fade to ice blue on her underbelly.
